Women & Child
Another area of serious concern amongst Tribal population is health issues of mother and their children, especially those below 2 years of age. Mothers being very much part of the bread earning hands for their families, they started to engage themselves in physical activities within few weeks of having delivered babies, at times even by carrying the infant on their backs, or leaving them under the care of immature siblings, posing great danger to the new-born. Besides, mothers don’t take proper diet during breast-feeding period, endangering their own health and the health of their child. Our effort is to educate breast-feeding mothers on the importance of eating well and also to avoid physical engagement immediately after delivery of a child. CFC takes the help of Doctors and Nurses and other qualified health workers for such sensitization programmes.
